Anna Marian Lachman’s life story is one of resilience, faith, and heartfelt expression. Raised on a dairy farm in the small hamlet of Nisku, Alberta, she grew up surrounded by the beauty of nature, the rhythm of the seasons, and the comfort of family life. From an early age, Anna recognized her gift as an empath, sensing deeply what others often overlooked, and channeling her emotions into writing that would later inspire and comfort readers.

Her journey has been filled with both joy and hardship, precious moments with family, as well as trials, regrets, and heartache. Blessed with four brothers, a daughter, and two beloved grandchildren, Anna draws strength and inspiration from her family, who remain the loves of her life.

In 2011, Anna faced her greatest challenge when she was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer. What followed was a ten-year battle that tested her spirit but never broke her faith. Now cancer-free for over a decade, she shares her story as a testament to perseverance and belief in God’s guiding light. Her journey through darkness to healing has shaped her voice as a poet, making her words deeply relatable and immensely uplifting.
